My work as an artist encompasses multiple media, my works in oil, watercolor and photography ultimately finding expression in quilted collages of printed and hand dyed fabrics, painted with thread, often highlighted with pencil and paint, ribbon, yarn, glitter and foil.

My work as a physician reinforces my need to create for the viewer works of rhythm and color, to cheer the spirit and delight the soul. Travels as a medical volunteer have provided me with visual material along with an understanding of the beauty in all people and a sense of place in any milieu.

Ongoing formal art studies in other media add the richness and sureness of universal principles to my work in fiber .
